Nothing beats homemade coffee. Aside from the strong and distinct taste produced from coffee prepared at home, there is also an association of a relaxing aroma that fills the air. So how should coffee be prepared without having to leave your home? Read on and find out how.

First off, you need to have enough supply of coffee beans that you need to prepare your homemade coffee. If you grow coffee in your backyard, you can process the beans to make coffee. Nevertheless, you can purchase a bag of unprocessed coffee from your local market or grocery store. The first that you can do in preparing coffee is roasting the beans. You can use some equipment from your kitchen such as a frying pan or even a grill. However, if you can afford one, you can invest in a special coffee roaster that transforms green coffee beans into dark, roasted coffee beans that are ready for grinding!

The next important step in preparing coffee is grinding. By grounding, the roasted beans are transformed into fine and tiny bits that are appropriate for brewing. You have to remember that the fineness of the ground coffee is consistent in all levels. As we all know, much pulverised ground coffee produces a very bitter taste, something that some coffee drinkers might like. Indeed, when grinding the roasted beans, you have to get just the right fineness of the ground coffee. After achieving the right quality of ground coffee, you can now pack your ground coffee in vacuum containers, where air cannot penetrate.

After your coffee preparation activity, it is now time to clean up the kitchen from all the mess that you have created. You should properly wash all the equipment you have used and allow them to properly dry before storing them until your next coffee preparation session.
